$30for30 Fundraiser Update

To Our Valued Supporters,

We are immensely grateful for your unwavering dedication to our cause and your generous contributions to move our mission forward. Your support fuels our commitment to making a positive impact in our community, and for that, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.

While we aimed high with our $30for30 fundraising campaign, we acknowledge that we fell short of our initial goal. However, in the face of this challenge, we are choosing to stand firm in our faith and resilience. Every setback is an opportunity for growth and innovation, and we are determined to turn this moment into a catalyst for positive transformation.

Together we raised $90 through peer-to-peer fundraising and were awarded a $7,000 grant for a community garden. Moving forward, we will concentrate our efforts on securing funding to build our first safe house (and headquarters) with a community garden on a vacant lot donated to our organization by our founder.

We are committed to exploring new avenues for fundraising and engaging with our community in innovative ways. From expanding digital access to our programs to creative partnerships, we are actively seeking out opportunities to broaden our reach and amplify our impact. Your continued support and belief in our mission inspires us to persevere, even in the face of adversity. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

In the coming days, weeks and months, we will keep you updated on our progress and share the next phase of our fundraising initiatives. Your involvement and feedback are invaluable as we navigate this journey together.

Thank you for standing in the gap with us and for your commitment to making peer support more accessible for youth and families. With your support, we are confident that we will break ground this year.

With care,

Iisha Wesley, Executive Director
