  • Help create a warm and welcoming first impression for attendees arriving to the Mocktail Mixer/Sober Social.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism

    • Assist with event check-in/sign-in

    • Help direct attendees to activity areas

    • Answer basic event questions

    • Help create an inclusive and judgment-free atmosphere

    Ideal For

    Commitment

    • Arrive 30–45 minutes before event start

    • Stay through the main arrival window or full event depending on availability

  • Role Summary

    Help guests connect through games, guided conversations, icebreakers, and interactive activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate board games, karaoke, crafts, or themed activities

    • Help participants feel comfortable and engaged

    • Maintain positive group energy

  • Role Summary

    Support MRCI’s culture of mutual aid and community care through resource stations, donation collection, and wellness support setup.

    Responsibilities

    • Set up community care/resource tables

    • Organize hygiene items, informational materials, or wellness resources

    • Assist with collecting donations or supplies

    • Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event

    • Support event breakdown and cleanup if available

    Ideal For

    • Organized and detail-oriented individuals

    • Volunteers interested in community service and outreach

    • Students and new professionals seeking nonprofit experience

    • Individuals passionate about harm reduction and mutual aid
